Put It In, I'm Ready
''What is a proper man? I never got a manual...''
In 'Put It In, I'm Ready' we meet an anonymous man hiding in a toilet cubicle from a disastrous first date. The cubicle turns into a pseudo confessional as we are transported to various moments in his life as he hopes to explain how he got here. We see his childhood, previous sexual faux pas and his own failed suicide attempt. Along with him we try to answer the age-old question what is a proper man anyway?
Writer and Performer Tom Heald brings this humorous and at some points heartbreaking exploration of the masculine identity. He hopes to provide an alternative, healthy way to talk about the male identity in a way that does not aim to put others down.
It's Not a Matter of Life and Death
Nat is dead. After an argument, and a drunken accident, he wakes up to find he is neither on earth or in the afterlife - but somewhere in the middle. Greeted by an eccentric eternal doorman, Nat argues that the life he was given was simply unfair. Luckily, he’s landed in the complaints department of the universe. If he can prove to the Doorman that this was true, then he may be entitled to compensation. He may get a second chance at life. But does he really deserve it? Dive into a comical adventure of self discovery, as Nat tries to prove that everything that went wrong with his life just wasn’t his fault. But don’t, its not a matter of life and death.
