Antony and Cleopatra: Empire Burn - Sat 15th Nov 7:30pm
Sat 15 Nov
|London
An exciting, edgy and fast paced reimagining of Shakespeare's tragic romance — where ancient empires feel like corrupt corporations, Cleopatra rules like a pop-culture goddess, and Rome is a neon-lit political machine that devours love.

About the event
In a world where politics is a bloodsport and love is currency, Mark Antony, one of the ruling triumvirs of the empire, has abandoned duty for desire. Ensnared by the magnetic and unpredictable Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt — equal parts rock star, dictator, and divine myth — Antony spirals into obsession.
As the world fractures from within, his rival Octavius Caesar seizes on Antony’s "fall" to consolidate power. Political alliances shift, fake marriages are brokered, and war becomes inevitable — not just between nations, but between identities: duty vs. passion, legacy vs. desire.
Cleopatra, ever performing, wields femininity and spectacle like weapons — but even she can’t escape the consequences of love in a world ruled by optics and ambition. In the end, power costs everything.
Blood runs under LED lights. Lovers die like celebrities — beautiful, tragic, and weaponized by history.
