Fourth Monkey & The Stage Scholarship 2020
As part of Fourth Monkey’s ongoing commitment to making drama school as accessible and inclusive as possible, we are proud to collaborate with The Stage newspaper to be part of The Stage Scholarship Awards for 2020!
Aimed at providing opportunities for those students who may otherwise find themselves unable to access drama school training, and who demonstrate exceptional talent and ability, The Stage/Fourth Monkey Scholarship for 2020 has been awarded to two members of our BA (Hons) Acting Accelerated Degree cohort – Tezlym Senior-Sakutu and Querida Louyindoula.
Tezlym and Querida will each receive a 50% scholarship to assist with their drama school training with Fourth Monkey, and we are delighted to name them both as the winners of this year’s scholarship award!
Fourth Monkey’s Artistic Director, Steve Green, had the pleasure of auditioning both Tezlym and Querida ahead of the start of their training in September 2020, and was full of praise for their work, their enthusiasm for and commitment to actor training, and their embrace of Fourth Monkey’s core ethos of “be bold and play”.
Of Fourth Monkey’s scholarship award in association with The Stage, Steve Green said; “as a drama school, Fourth Monkey are passionate about making our training is accessible, inclusive and open to all who wish to join us at the Monkey House, our London training base. It is why we abolished all audition fees in September 2019, it is why we offering auditions in a choice of formats (face-to-face or virtual) and locations (at our London training base plus selected regional locations), and it is why we are delighted to award both Tezlym and Querdia this scholarship in association with The Stage as they immerse themselves in training on our BA Acting degree”.
