Applications are now open for the Two Year Rep course, as well as the Year of the Monkey course, and auditions will be held from January 2019. In preparation for this, Fourth Monkey holds monthly Taster Workshops at their Finsbury Park base, the Monkey House. Each person who takes part in a workshop will receive a free audition (normally £25) for either course.
This release follows Fourth Monkey’s announcement of six new patrons each of whom support a scholarship for students entering the Two Year Rep course in 2018. The scholarships signify support for one in six students on the course and are currently financed by Fourth Monkey. They are in addition to the established Emrys Johns and Ronnie Collash Scholarships. All financial support is based on audition outcomes, personal circumstances and financial need and are means tested, to ensure they are awarded to those otherwise unable to train as an actor.
