From Audition to Performance: The LA ExperienceFour day workshop
LA pilot season is a fantastic opportunity for actors looking to make a name for themselves in American television. But it can be a daunting prospect. Make sure you’re prepared for this career-changing event with this four day course.
Throughout this course you will work on finding the heart of the story, connecting and making strong choices that support your talent and authenticity as an artist. The first day is a very practical approach to auditioning for TV and film using scripts from current shows. You’ll get the sides beforehand so that you have time to prepare. The second and third days are exercises and scene study, including an eye opening on-camera exercise. And the last day is about administrating your career, including visa information, understanding your casting, dealing with agents and casting directors, creating a career concept, what to do and where to go.
Even if you’re not ready to go to LA right now, it’ll be great research & preparation.
