Fourth Monkey is an actor training school and producing theatre company like no other. We pride ourselves on developing actors from diverse backgrounds and imbuing them with a very real sense of what a career in the performing arts entails. Throughout their training they live and work as part of a performing company, developing the emotional depth and personal resilience needed to succeed in the industry. At the same time, our Ensemble gives students the opportunity to profile themselves to the broader industry whilst also producing challenging contemporary work.

We’ve grown rapidly over the last 7 years. In 2015 we moved into a specially renovated site in Finsbury Park with extensive rehearsal, training and studio space.

We are now looking to recruit a highly energetic and talented Marketing and Communications Coordinator who will help us continue to expand, reaching out to new audiences, building new partnerships and achieving our mission of revolutionising the arts through innovative actor training, performance excellence and collaboration.

The focus of the role will be primarily to ensure Fourth Monkey attracts a high volume of talented trainee actors onto its courses by spearheading coordinated recruitment campaigns. However, the role is much broader than that as it also incorporates media relations, digital marketing, stakeholder communications and brand management. As such, we are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of how to promote Fourth Monkey’s courses across a range of media.

We do not anticipate that the ideal candidate will have experience in all elements of the role, but we do expect them to be able to demonstrate the potential, ambition and creative spark needed to develop these skills. As such, if you are someone who is looking for the opportunity to develop a broad marketing and communications skill-set whilst working within a supportive team, then this could be the role for you.
