Brief Course Overview

Based on the 5 elements of the Monkey, Fourth Monkey’s Two Year Rep is a Full-time contemporary Rep Theatre Company and actor training programme with a difference. This is experiential training at its most innovative.

Evolutionary Training for an Evolving Industry.

Voice - Singing - Stage Combat - Puppetry - Meisner Technique - Circus - Residential Commedia dell'Arte course in Italy - Complicite workshops - Told by an Idiot workshops - Fevered Sleep workshops - Clown - Mask- Solo Performance - Ensemble - Bikram Yoga - Alexander Technique - Movement - Contemporary Dance - Physical Theatre - Laban- Greek Theatre - Shakespeare - Contextual Studies - Contemporary Theatre Styles - Brechtian Practice- Professional Prep - Showcase - Casting Director workshops and four production seasons delivered in repertory, culminating at the Edinburgh Festival.

Auditioning throughout the year, for a September start, Two Year Rep is a two-year full-time actor training and performance programme, the second year of which is spent predominantly working as a professional rep company in London, on tour* and concluding at the Edinburgh Festival.
