Production Internship

Having just returned from our sell-out & award winning season at the Edinburgh fringe festival, we are now initiating an outreach scheme for budding directors / producers that we would like to make you aware of, this scheme is a competitive placement for a 6 week internship as a production assistant with us at the Edinburgh festival, August 2013.


When is it?
Your internship will start in the second section of July and run through to the end of august.

What would i be doing?
You would be working along-side our production crew who have vast experience in the west end and more recently the Olympics, learning the basis of theatre management and production on a truly vocational level.

Do i have to pay?
No, all travel & accommodation will be provided by us. note : living costs are not covered


As this is a competitive scheme, we only have 1 place available and so require all applications before 1st March 2012. However, dependant on the volume and level of applicants we reserve the right to close applications early. so please apply early to avoid disappointment.

how do i apply?

Round 1 : Please submit a covering email to production@fourthmonkey.co.uk , Stating why you are the right person for the job. please detail any relevant experience.

Round 2 : If successful, we will request a few more details, and a reference.

Round 3 : Finally we may request to see you for an interview.

As stated, this is a competitive placement, and if accepted it will test the applicants ability to their limit, however it is a great way to develop professionally within a highly versatile and exciting industry!

All applicants will be considered, regardless of academic achievement, however, extra-curicular activities will be taken into account.
